Once upon a time there was a girl who loved photography. She got really excited early on and decided to start a business when she lived in Kamloops. Kamloops was a beautiful place to photograph filled with lots of lovely people. Early into the business, the girl found that she A)didn’t know photography well enough to have a business and B)that she wasn’t a business person. The business aspect wore her down and started to alter her love of photography. Boo

So, she decided she was happier shooting for herself, and not to please others. She was much happier and started to learn more, take more risks, and have fun again with photography.

She now photographs what inspires her. I would like to introduce myself as that girl. Since my days in Kamloops, I now have a little girl, not just a boy to photograph ( ohh the frilly possibilities!) and have relocated to beautiful Sherwood Park Alberta.

I love vintage things, run down dilapidated structures, mountains, rivers and bright big blue skies. I’m a lover of animals, including my purrrfect cats, and my kids who are the biggest inspiration and muses for my photography.

I’m Tracy Cook, and this is my photography.
